These all have some red vinyl on them. I picked it up at a garage sale and used my accucut machine to cut out some flowers and leaves. I think they make a nice touch to the cards. I ran some ribbon through the old sewing machine and they really finish the card nicely.
Here are my entries for the Three Cheers for Chairs Challenge. I didn't have any chair stamps or rub-ons so these are printed from the clip art on Publisher. The lawn chair card will be a great father's day card. I love how the chairs printed out so nicely on patterned paper on the lower card.
These cards are for Trigger Tuesday. I stayed with the breezy blue and green colors, with a little brown mixed in and a silver accent. I'm ready to go swimming!
Tuesday Triggerhttp://www.moxiefabworld.com/2010/04/tuesday-trigger-lovely-as-rose.html I kept the basic color scheme the same. I used a piece of clear vinyl over the oval to simulate the glass vase. Rounding the corners of the card and green paper mirror the shape of the vase. I used lace for the flowers and paper pieced the leaves.
This is my first attempt for the Lovely as a Rose challenge. Basic shape of the vase it the same. I used a rub on for the rose and flowers. I added a litte vintage feel with the sheet music, and some greenery in the background.
This one's just a bonus. Same basic colors and shape. A little vinyl scallop sewn on and a little extra color added.
My Swedish inspired bookmarks. These are all hand-drawn and painted on tea dyed watercolor paper, with machine stitching around the edges and mounted on cardstock.
Here are my Swedish Christmas Cards. The Santa Lucia girl is hand drawn and painted. I scanned her into the computer and printed them out to use on cards. The heart and goat are handmade stamps.
Here are some of the cards I made last year with a Swedish theme. Some are hand drawn and painted. Somer are Dala horse stamps that I carved. All were so much fun to make!
